Matt Tague is a seasoned talent strategist with a track record of optimizing hiring processes and driving customer success in high-growth environments. As Director of Customer Success at Gem, he led a 50-person team spanning Customer Success, Technical Support, Learning & Development, and Professional Services. He built and scaled Gem’s Professional Services function from the ground up, helping enterprise clients integrate ATS platforms and design best-in-class talent acquisition processes.
Prior to Gem, Matt held leadership roles at Lyft, Microsoft, and LinkedIn, where he specialized in talent intelligence, sourcing strategy, and recruiting technology. At Lyft, he led a 30-person team across Global Talent Sourcing, Talent Intelligence, and Branding, driving efficiencies in hiring through data-driven insights. At Microsoft, he spearheaded global talent intelligence initiatives, optimizing sourcing channels and competitor analysis to inform hiring strategies. During his time at LinkedIn, he played a key role in developing data-driven recruiting frameworks, evangelizing LinkedIn’s hiring products, and earning four U.S. patents for recruiting technologies. His expertise in talent optimization, process automation, and inclusive hiring continues to shape the future of talent acquisition.
